Fireball!

Us GSCians celebrated the 2008 Fireball week yesterday. Everybody wore the company colors so it was quite a colorful sight. We has a treasure hunt competition, build some 3D models, we even had a King and Queen for the day with some unexpected results. It was hilarious when somebody shouted 'Why?' when the King was announced.

Going back to school

We were invited to photograph Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Bandar Tasek Mutiara for their school magazine and I must say that we had a blast. Our thanks goes to Kak Non for inviting us and for coordinating the kids. They were quite a handful. There were some shouting, a smack here and there but it went quite smoothly. Definitely an experience to remember. It's nice to be called 'Cikgu'.

Taekwon-Do Championship

Wacha! Some of these kids can really move. Others, not so much. One boy got kicked in the face and cried. It was somewhat cute.
These were shot under horrible lighting condition. The ceiling was too high to bounce the flash and the light they were using were really dim. All photos shot at ISO800 f/2. Max shutter speed around 1/320s. I guess it turned out ok overall. Not perfect, just ok.

Thank you to the bride and groom for having us. We learned a lot that day. We learned that people skill is the first and foremost thing to master when doing weddings. We also learned to be really alert (which is exhausting by the way) but the most important thing we learned was to have fun and take it easy.
